5.) The Multifaceted Musical Artistry of SyKi (2022)
*2022, Various Projects, ANDiTGo & Creative Independence
SyKi roughly recorded 3 cover songs using a voice recorder app on a mobile phone, playing an acoustic guitar while performing sung vocals. The covers featured his vocals of his favourite parts of the songs on the EP, "OverO's". SyKi sang "Fair Trade" by Drake & Travis Scott, only singing lyrics of the sample in the original song and those from Travis Scott and incorporating a line from Drake's "Girls Want Girls" as a closing vocal element. SyKi also covered the songs "Outside" by The Weeknd and "Avoid Things" by Tems, banding the 3 songs into the OverO's EP and on March, 21st of 2022, presenting it's release to a small number of his female followers. The artist expressed perplexing intrigue to those in his circle, at the result which highlighted an idea that his covers and remixes were more appreciated by listeners than his original musical content which generally required more of his effort. On August 30th, the double single, SyKi 2.0 was released and by then SyKi had hinted at an incoming release through subliminal social media posts which would be called "ANDiTGo".

**September 2022: "ANDiTGo"
SyKi worked with Johannesburg North-based music group, "Royal Blood Music" since late 2021 on a 10 track album titled "ANDiTGo". ANDiTGo included music production from producers Flapjack and RUDY and the title was stated by many who were familiar with SyKi's work as one of the rapper's catchphrases (including "SyKi The Mind, SyKi The Soul" & "And it go like...") which were often used on rap songs and usually said a moment before beginning to rap his verses. SyKi conceptualized the album as "alien rap" or "deity rap". The content would convey narratives on themes such as becoming a God, being respected and powerful as a music artist, having free will, the unity of SyKi and loved ones, undergoing taxing training, romantic interests, party-lifestyles and experiences of "higher dimensions" amongst other subjects. Most notably, the project contains a rough recording of the spoken-word poem "Deification", as well as prominent songs; Dojo, 5D Passing, Joyriiide, sykisoissosolo and Hacksaw. "SyKi The Mind" intended for the project to pioneer a melodic hip-hop sound, yet still include hardcore delivery of lyrical raps, the whole being a versatile blend, intent on showcasing most of the artist's range of musical abilities. It was engineered by Uno of Royal Blood Music and released independently on September 15th, exclusively on audiomack.com.
